WELCOME to the Home Page of Trulytango Scraps!

Everyone loves a freebie, so let’s kick things off with links to the first few things I ever made for sharing… these frames have proved really popular and regularly show up in the brilliant pages uploaded over on Daisy Trail.  Have fun with these freebies… and if you like them, there’s  more free stuff to be had over on the Blog – just check out what’s on offer by dipping into the Trulytango Archive List to the right of this page.

Fabulous FREE Filigree Frames

Born out of my addiction to playing around with graphic fonts, these frames are very delicate and bound to add a touch of class to your pages.  You’ll find the following frame shapes included – square, rectangular, circular and oval, all in a delicate filigree pattern.  Frames are provided in both DSA (Intelligent frames) Digikit and PNG format.

FREE Festive Frames

Here’s a pair of metal textured frames, originally created for a Christmas project (hence their name), but as you can see, they’ll add impact to all sorts of layouts!  The frames are provided with a metal textured, greyscale finish – in both DSA (Intelligent frames) Digikit and PNG format – perfect for tinting any shade you fancy.  Have FUN!

Have FUN and enjoy your visit!

  1. Thank you for these lovely frames. As I am very new to this digital crafting, I bought CA2 last September and I do appreciate the kits other people make. Thank you too for the tutorial videos, they have helped me a great deal with the learning process. I also appreciate the lovely effects which I have downloaded. Now just to make time to really get down to making pages! Thanks again.

  2. Thanks so much for the fabulous freebies! I love, love, love your work!

  3. Hi Iris
just downloaded some of your freebies and would like to say that your hard work is really appreciated by all. Thanks for all the tips, video’s and advice you give to us all on Daisytrail
    Regards Pat

  4. I just wanted to thank you so much for your video tutorials on embossing which I found on utube. These are just fantastic, they’ve given me ideas for future greeting cards I wish to make. I purchased Craft Artist last year and continue to be amazed at what you can do, especially with incorporating your photos. I really appreciate all the tuturials you do as I just continue to learn so many new things that you can do/create in Craft Artist. Thanks again.

Hi Iris, I just bought a number of your kits on Friday but I am unable to open them e.g.Circular Frames and Outline effects. Could you tell me were I am going wrong

  6. Hi Iris, I didn’t get your reply, but I managed to figure it out myself.

  7. I am struggling to make the Page border overlays work – they are so lovely. I know this should be simple but when I click on overlay in the filter effects, they retain their grey color even if I change the opacity. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Diane. Are you sure you’re working on the right layer i.e. the actual border overlay and not the background? Start a NEW scrapbook page and add a background from the backgrounds tab… now look at the layers palette, it will be showing two layers – Layer 1 and below it, the background layer. When you add an overlay it should automatically go onto layer one… when it is first dropped in there and whilst you are centreing it on the page, the overlay is selected i.e. it will have a selection box around it. Whilst the overlay is selected you apply a Blend Mode from the drop-down box provided above the Effects palette in DSA version 2. Earlier versions do not have Blend Modes. If you have DSA2 and your blend modes aren’t working you should post a request for help in the Daisy Trail Forum.

      • Thank you so much. I believe I did this as you described but will give it another try. Your work is beautiful and I so appreciate your helpful comments. Thank you again.

Hi there, I have been trying to subscribe to your Blog and your Limited edition Freebies, but although I clicked the link from the email I was sent and clicked “Apply” on the WordPress site, nothing has happened. What am I doing wrong please. Help !!
    Thanks Jane

You’ve done nothing wrong, Jane. The limited edition links aren’t posted on the blog. I deal with new subscriptions manually on a daily basis. The links are on their way to you as I write. Thanks for you patience and I hope you find the files useful:)

Thank you so much. I am fairly new to downloading things so am a bit dense sometimes. I have now successfully accessed the links following your e-mail and will let you know how I get on with the packs.
        Thanks again. Jane

  9. Thanks for another fabulous freebie

  10. Hi Iris, I bought your embossed edges pack. But I can’t figure out how to work it. I am new to digital scraping and DSA. So please help a newbie, I have got it onto DSA, but don’t know how to join the embossed edges and the background.
